The Master’s program in Materials Science and Engineering focuses on a science-oriented, interdisciplinary engineering education with a strong focus on Materials Science and Engineering.

Students will be empowered to physically and mathematically model complex technical-physical processes and systems, taking into account the materials used. The program addresses the current paradigm shift—moving away from deterministic models toward Predictive Science. From the outset, students are taught a probabilistic view of the material properties of physical and engineering systems, thus conveying the necessity of stochastic modeling.

This approach has not been consistently integrated into teaching until now, making this a unique selling point of the Master’s program in Materials Science and Engineering.
